Sweet friend, let me speak this over your heart today like a banner of truth:

You were born for exactly what Jesus has purposed you for.

No matter what your past looks like, no matter where you are right now, and no matter how “ordinary” you may feel—you were born for such a time as this.

That’s not just a poetic phrase or a nice thing to write in a journal. That is Heaven’s truth. A declaration. A promise. A reminder that your life is intentional and your presence on this earth is divinely timed.

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

Esther wasn’t a queen by chance. You’re not where you are by chance either.

Jesus has called you, appointed you, and placed you on purpose.

Let’s start at the very beginning—your identity. You were made in His image.

Not just to reflect Him, but to walk with Him, be transformed by Him, and to carry His presence into every corner of your life. That’s not small. That’s holy ground.

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

Genesis 1:27

That means every gift you carry… every dream in your heart… every passion, skill, and quirk that makes you YOU—it all flows from the Master Designer.

You were made to know Him and to follow Him wholly and intently.

No half-hearted faith. No watered-down obedience. Just full, joyful surrender to the One who knows you best and loves you most.

💛 He is who He says He is.

He does what He says He’s going to do.

And YOU are who He says you are. 💛

“You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit…”

John 15:16 (NLT)

You are made for more. But not the kind of “more” the world chases.

You were made for more of Him—more of His voice, His Word, His presence, His Spirit.

And in Him alone do we find the deep soul-satisfying purpose we’re all longing for.

I love the song “I Will Follow Jesus” by Circuit Rider Music

“I have decided / I will follow Jesus / Anywhere He leads us / Hey, let’s go, let’s go!”

When I hear those lyrics, something stirs deep inside me. Don’t you feel it too?

It’s the call of adventure with Jesus.

It’s the anthem of yes.

It’s the rhythm of surrender, courage, and joy—all rolled into one!

When you truly follow Jesus, you don’t just exist—you start to live. Fully. Boldly. Purposefully.

You let go of control. You hold onto trust. You realize that even when the path is unclear, the Person you’re following is faithful. He’s leading with love. He’s lighting the way.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Psalm 119:105

So let’s ask the big question: what does it actually look like to live on purpose?

It doesn’t always mean starting a business or moving across the world—though it might.

It means waking up each day with your “yes” already given to Jesus.

It means:

Showing up to your job with integrity and joy.

Serving your family with patience and love.

Saying yes when it’s uncomfortable and no when it’s necessary.

Speaking the truth when it’s hard, and encouraging others when they feel small.

Living like Heaven is real and eternity is coming.

It means making your life an altar of worship.

You’re not waiting to be useful to God. You already are.

You’re not waiting for your “calling” to begin. You’re living it today.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Ephesians 2:10

And don’t miss this: God is not asking you to have it all figured out.

He’s asking for your availability, not your perfection.

Say YES to the process. YES to the pruning. YES to the purpose. YES to the adventure.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5–6

You were born for such a time as this.

Your gifts? Needed.

Your voice? Valuable.

Your story? Sacred.

Your obedience? World-shaking.

Don’t shrink back. Don’t second guess it.

Jesus is worth following. Every time. Every step. Every season.

So let's go, friend. Let’s follow Him—anywhere He leads.

Let’s say yes even when it’s scary.

Let’s show up every day and ask, “Jesus, how can I love You more and love people better today?” And here’s the most comforting truth of all—the one that brings rest to the deepest parts of your heart:

Jesus is already standing in the place He’s calling you to.

He’s not sending you into the unknown and hoping for the best. He’s already there. He’s paved the way, gone before you, and is lovingly waiting for your arrival.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8

The same Jesus who walks beside you is the One who stands ahead of you.

He’s in your next step, your next season, your next yes.

He’s prepared it. He’s promised it. And He’s present in it.

So take heart. Take courage.

You’re not stepping into the unknown.

You’re stepping into His known, His plan, His promise.

And friend, that is the safest and sweetest place to be.
